Program of Study

Our first time in college Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) majors have a four-year program of study that includes the foundational, university core and major courses you will need to complete your degree and begin your nursing career.

You will work closely with your academic advisor to plan your program of study and the other co-curricular components of your educational plan.

Four Year BSN Program of Study for First Time in College Students

You will earn a total of 180 credits, 137 in required major classes. To complete your degree, you are required to hold a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher; a major GPA of 3.0 or higher and receive a C (2.0) or better in all required nursing prerequisite and major courses to progress in the program. Your personal program of study may vary due to prior educational experience or individual goals. The example below assumes you have completed no degree requirements. *Indicates prerequisite courses used in calculating your nursing major GPA.
